New Threading Machines

Ozcon took delivery in September 2025 of two new machines and material handling systems, now installed, commissioned and fully operational with a programmable automated loading and unloading system. The material handling system, loads, levels, rotates and transitions pipes from 2” to 24” in diameter in joint lengths from 1metre to 12 metres. The combined process offers unique variability at high productivity and efficiency levels delivering speed and accuracy in unprecedented levels.

Thread Protectors

We are pleased to announce the expansion of our range of polypropylene thread protectors incorporating all sizes up to 12”. This new range follows the same methodology of design and manufacture of our own high-pressure injection moulded multi cavity dies allowing a fit for purpose branded addition to our Ozcon tubular products.

New Thread for Light-Walled Casing Hits the Market

2022 has seen a strong post-pandemic recovery in the resources sector and Ozcon’s activity levels have increased significantly.

Our in-house engineering department had developed in size and capacity continually reviewing our designs and adding new products and threads to suit changing customer requirements.

Our years of combined experience in manufacturing, engineering and the resources sector have granted us the ability to understand our customers’ requirements and tailor a casing package to suit their needs and Ozcon is very pleased to announce the launch of a new product by using our industry leading AFJ® thread and adapted it to suit light walled casing, the AFJ-L.

The new AFJ-L flush jointed casing thread is available on 9 mm wall thickness variants from 10-3/4” diameter through to 16” and 12 mm wall thickness variants from 18” through to 24” diameters.
